From iSchool Current Students

The Information School runs a series of informal Researchers Meetings, which are organised by Dr Andrew Madden. These discussion meetings usually take place at 16.30 on the second Thursday of each month and are open to any research students and staff in the School with an interest in research.

The meetings are informal and aim to be as broad-ranging as possible. Generally, during each session, two topics are discussed. The first is usually based on a short (4-5 minute) presentation about on an on-going piece of research within the School. The second discussion is on a topic in which interest has been expressed, either by people attending the group, or by people contributing to, or commenting on, the blog (http://sheffieldischoolresearchers.blogspot.com/).
