From iSchool Current Students
The pages indexed below contain key information about supervision arrangements.
All students have a minimum of one supervisor, and many will have a secondary supervisor based either within the School, elsewhere in the University or in a collaborating organisation. It is regarded as preferable for all students to have two supervisors, and it is expected all students commencing their studies on or after 1st August 2013 will have two supervisors. Whether a second supervisor is assigned to students who commenced prior to this date depends on the research topic, the nature of the project and the availability of expertise within the School.
All students are also allocated a personal tutor - in the majority of cases this will be either the Director of Research or the PGR Director.
